- One of either Kirill Kaprizov or Gustav Nyquist will play on Saturday against the Blues
- Nyquist is closer
- Dean Evason indicated that neither would play both back-to-back games on Monday and Tuesday
- Three-way tie between Colorado, Dallas, and Minnesota atop the Central Division
- Colorado has a game in hand
- Wild will likely face Dallas in first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs
Timberwolves Play Their Worst Game at Wrong Time but Rebound Nicely
- Worst loss against the spread in 28 years
- They were -19.5 favorites over the Trailblazers in Portland on Sunday; lost by two
- Karl-Anthony Towns took three shots
- Held off the Nets, 107-102, Tuesday
- Towns took more shots in the first four minutes than he did all game in Portland
- He also finished the game, hitting big shots and key free throws down the stretch
- Sit ninth in the standings but are just a half-game back of New Orleans in eighth
- They play in Minneapolis on Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
- Next game is at San Antonio on Saturday at 3 p.m.
- They are not at all trying to win
- Could very well end up in eighth, which is where you want to be
- Only need to win one play-in game to make the playoffs
